Simple eating rules are there like while eating we should start chewing properly because when we chew our saliva mix with the food and its starts digesting right from the mouth. When we try to finish our food within 5 to 10 minutes and gulp the food then that raw food is been sent directly the stomach. It is difficult for the stomach to digest that type of food completely and then you are seeing lot of diseases start coming. Indigestion start first of all. Then we have to pay attention of water also. now you see a lot of people while eating drinking lot of cold drinks or very chilled water. Just imagine our food when you take there is a digestive fire and on that fire if you pour 1 glass of full chilled water or any chilled drinks, what will happen? It won’t allow it to function and do correct metabolism and that simple things sometimes leads to cause of disease. So don’t drink chilled water and before and after food try to avoid drinking water because now Agni what we say, our digestive fire is preparing it for digestion and we put lot of water before so what all digestive juices are being released from our stomach they become very mild they become low for work. After food also when you put the digestion is on and we are putting water. So in case if you feel like drinking while eating you can just have little sip of water very less and after your finishing the meal, lets say around 40-45 mins you can have warm water. you can add some other drink like morning with breakfast you can add milk you can add some vegetable soup or you can have fruit juices. In afternoon with lunch you can have buttermilk that will work properly and then when it comes to night, you can have little warm milk. but water should be definitely taken after 40-45 minutes.
Take care of three things: Quality of food, Quantity of food & Proper eating rules. When you take these three things properly, food in a proper manner, we heal our body itself and we can prevent disease and allow our body to be healthy
